Enameled copper wire is a kind of magnet wire with insulation coating, widely used in motors, transformers, inductors, coils, relays and other electrical and electronic components. It features excellent heat resistance, dielectric strength, adhesion, flexibility and chemical resistance.

    • Insulation: Polyurethane (PU/UEW), Polyester (PEW), Polyester-imide (EIW), Polyimide (PIW), Polyamide-imide (PAI)
    • Temperature Class: 130°C, 155°C, 180°C, 200°C, 220°C
    • Features: Good solderability, high scratch resistance, stable performance, suitable for high-speed winding
    • Application: Motors, transformers, ballasts, generators, solenoids, household appliances, automotive electronics

Manganin is a trademarked name for an alloy of typically 86%copper, 12%manganese, and 2%nickel.
Manganin foil and wire is used in the manufactur of resistor, particularly ammeter shunts, because of its virtually zero temperature coefficient of resistance value and long term stability.
Manganin is also used in gauges for studies of high-pressure shock waves (such as those generated from the detonation of explosives) because it has low strain sensitivity but high hydrostatic pressure sensitivity
